Center Console for '86 CJ-7
I'm looking for a black factory center console for a '86 CJ-7. Any idea where to look?

I have a tan center console from an 84 CJ that a previous owner painted black. It actually looks good. The only way I know it was originally tan is that the inside of it is still tan. If you are interested in it I can take some pictures of it. I will sell it for $15 plus shipping.

Thanks for your suggestions.

As it turns out, Collins Bros/eBay don't have any now. And I've been unsuccessful on Craigslist.

I'm really looking for one that's originally black, not repainted. Would you consider selling your "mint" one 2KJ33PTJ?

I understand the need and desire for a console. Why stock? Unless you are a purist, and nothing wrong with that, you want a Tuffy Security Console.
Search here on the key words.
I have an original black one, because I got a Tuffy Security Stereo console. The 10" model is recomended.

X2 on the Tuffy! It's real secure! If anyone can steal something from a locked Tuffy console, they deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard nothing but good things about Tuffy consoles, but I AM a purist and really want the stock look and feel of the interior.

I guess others do too, or are discarding their consoles, because a really good example of a stock black one is really hard to find.

If any of you are willing to part with yours, please let me know.
