Center Console for 82 CJ5

what is everyone's opinion on best center console for 82 CJ5. I have heated seats, so will need to have place to move the switches if possible.

Heated seats in Panama City, FL

Anyways I have a Bestop dual compartment console and 2 cup holders front and rear. The front compartment holds a CB and my sterio the rear is for storage and a 6-pack cooler

IMHO it's Max-Built's center console (http://www.maxbilt.com/New%20Products.html). At first glance it looks like others, but no one else has the LEDs in front, back and inside. I mine I have a Stereo, CB, Amp, winch power cable, first aid kit, and a whole bunch of little stuff (pens, pocket knife, klenex, toilet paper, gum, etc). Yes it's a little pricey, but us asked what's the best, and IMHO it is.

I agree with the maxbilt one, but for your dollar check out smittybilt's security stereo console. It's almost identical to Tuffy's, I bought that then a spare tuffy lock'key and put on it. It's bare bones compared to the maxbilt, but you could add to it yourself for way less than that price.

I got the tuffy and I am happy with it. But any of these would be fine if your looking for a place to mount some switches.

I think they are all made for the CJ7 and mounting the Tuffy in my 5 took a little thought. Fortunatly some here showed a neat way of doing it in a 5 so I can keep the cup holder up front.

I've only had the Tuffy (I'm on my 2nd one), but I've had no complaints whatsoever with them. I'd suggest going with the 8" wide one and not the 10" wide model if you go this route.
