Carter carb vacuum question.....

I'm running a 2bbl Carter (I know, I know) on my '79 Cj7, 258. Looking at the carb, there are 2 large vacuum ports, 1 on the dust cap on top, & one directly below.....Does anyone have a 'Carter specific' vacuum diagram, or could clue me in to where these hook to? I'm sure one is the PVC, but the other has me befuddled.....Thanks for any help.....

The PCV will usually use a large manifold vacuum port at the base of the carb. Not sure about the other without looking at it.

It's just a Jeep, and if you don't wheel it once in a while, it's not even that.

There is no large Port at the base....There are only the 2 that I mentioned before, 1 on the dust cap & one directly below, both the same size......

thanks for the help

Thanks for the help.....Your diagrams worked wonders......They ports in question ended up going to the Cannister from the carb bowl vent, so now that I no longer have a cannister, I was in the dark, thinking I forgot something (I guess I did!)
