Carter 2bbl 232/258 insulator spacer source??

I'm looking for the 3/8 spacer/insulator that goes between the carb and intake manifold. Does anyone know where to find one of these? I have been looking everywhere and cannot find one.

I found a thread on here that had a crown part number but I couldn't find that either. Please someone point me in the right direction

Hmm, it does look a bit different than the one I have. Mine has slots for vacuum channels in the carb. Do you think this one would cover those channels if i notched the holes out?

Mine looks like this: http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps2ebbf53f.jpg

I'm not sure maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in on this.

Picked it up today at o'reilly. It's a perfect match.

adams1985cj 03-21-2013 11:11 AM

Right on I'm surprised they didn't have to order it.

cj5russ 03-21-2013 02:35 PM

Me too, they only had 1 though.
