92 xj completly stock i know it's a shame but i;m only in high school and have a very limited budget. anyway i have a qeustion about carboraters i also have very limited knowledge on enigines so i have the chance to get a 77 cj5 form my uncle if i can get it out of there yard and bring it home butt it needs some carboerator work so i was wondering if it woudl be alright just to get a rebui,d kit and bring it to someone that knows how to fix it the right way or to go to the junk yard and pick an old one up or to just buy a brand knew one butt since i only have a high school budget i wanna try to keep that one as a last resort. thanks

Buying the rebuilt kit and taking it to a mechanic is fine. You might try going to a shop with the carb and see if its cheaper to have them order a kit and do the labor on it, just check around. If its been sitting just becareful what you get into. There is no telling what else is wrong with it or what else it needs $$$. And please use spell check next time you post
