Carb Recommendation?

I am swapping to a 360 in a couple of weeks from my previous 258... but the 360 needs a new carb. Many of you reading my other topics probably already know this.

I need to get a carb... I think I want a carb, not EFI or TBI or whatever other type of fuel injection is possible. At least for now... the 360 has a 2 barrel intake on it, so I need a 2 barrel carb.

Any good recommendations? And, keep in mind, I do want fuel mileage to be decent. I don't think an 850 CFM carb would quite help with that... heh. So, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Under 400 dollars would also be a plus...

You can usually pick up a MC2100 for $15-25 at a pic-n-pay wrecking yard. Rebuild kits are $25-35.

Autozone sells one complete for a 1977 waggie with 360 for $119.00
