Pict 1: Heat riser for the choke. It should go to a tube which would be under the block off plate below it
This is a Ford setup, but it illustrates what I'm talking about.
2: Direct vacuum port, probably to the EGR or vacuum advance routed through a thermovac switch. I would leave it as is, unless it is leaking vacuum.
3&4: Ford automatic kick down lever. Ford C series transmissions use an aluminum bar from the carb to kick the trans into 2nd for passing. The hole in the linkage is for the adjustment screw.
