I took mine out with a combination of large hammer and turning bolt with a ratchet, I don't have an impact either, turning the bolt by hand backed it out some, just real slow. When it was out far enough that I couldn't drive it further, I clamped vise grips just under the head of the bolt and knocked it on out, hitting the vise grips with the hammer (that's what foreign made cheap tools are for) Bolt was ruined when I got done, but it was out

hack saw the bolt on both side between the hanger and the bushing then work on it after it is outside of the hanger.. the bolts wear and get a should from wear and rust and bend etc....
-Allen you can afford elbow grease I take it. |

Well it is dark, I went climbing to get out my frustration about this. I will try some of there things tomorrow. Thanks for the tips. Hopefully I can get these out, I really want to get these axles in before the weather turns bad.

If you use a propane torch you won't ruin the spring. if you don't want to use a torch use a heat gun. either way the easiest way is to heat the spring and hammer out the bolt. Or get a can of air duster and spray it upside down onto the bolt to get it cold.

You can ...
1. cut the metal tab off the end 2. put a small length of pipe (about the diameter of the spring eye) over the end 3. press it out with a bench vise.

Got them out. Had a guy in my club help me. We tried everything. Finally had to take a torch to the bushings and heat them up so we could pound them out with a hammer. So I have to go et 3 bushings, sleeves and bolts but I am glad that is over.

Replace them all while everything is out....you'll just be pulling it all apart later to replace the ones you didn't do this time.
