Post Buying a CJ....tell me what you think

I am most likely going to buy this jeep and I wanted to know what you guys think. I am new to Jeeps, so help me out.

1982 CJ7 109k original miles, restored milage less than 8K totally reworked AMC 20 rearend with Warn Full Floater, Detroit Locker, and 373 Motive ring and pinion, front Dana 30 373 Motive, Fresh 300 horse 350 conversion, 650 Holley, 6AL MSD ign. with MSD billet distributor and MSD Coil, 4 speed Muncie all new inside, Dana 300 transfer case twin sticker shifter, 4 inch Pro Comp lift w/ 2 1/4 shackles, New 35x12.5 Pro Comp Mud Terr., 15x10 Eagle alloys. Motor, Tranny, differentials all professionally built, Hardtop with doors. Some surface rust on the floor, leaks a little around the windshield (original glass). Body looks in good shape.

Any comments? I am paying $6k. IF someone tells me how, I will post a picture of it.

If you are looking for a built up Jeep OR this is mod for mod how you would have built one, then go for it. You'll save a lot of time on the 350 conversion and the full floaters are sweet. If all you need a stock Jeep, but this one just looks good to you, then do some thinking and weight the pros and cons.

If you have even the slightest inclination of buying a jeep and modifying it AT ALL!!! and you can afford this jeep TAKE IT!!!! figure it like this in general a run of the mil jeep in ok to poor condition will run you lets say 2,000.00 then lets start with the detroit locker 549.95 motive gears 224.95 front 224.95 rear, Cratemotor 350 price can varry but lets go to the LOW side and say 1500.00, cheap headers 159.99, holley 650 581.95, 6al controler 195.95, billet msd distributor 391.69, msd coil 69.95, reconditioned muncie 4 speed 700.00, twin stick kit 99.95, pro comp lift 339.00, wheel and tire package 944.00, used hardtop 400.00, I have no clue what a conversion kit cost so lets say 400.00 and im shure there are a host of other items you did not specify but lets total it up shall we???
$8382.33 thats a big chunk of change,, OH and lets not forget the couple thousand dollars in labor to do all the modifications or the months of weekedns it would take you to do it. I am telling you man SNAG IT before someone else does you cant beat that price oh and the best part,,,, NO WAIT just get in and go play!!!!

If its broke I can fix it. if it isnt broke give me a minute!!!

1980 CJ5, 304 V8, flat top pistons, rv cam, quadra-jet carb, edelbrock intake, hooker headers, Purple Hornies 3" header glasspacks, Solid Driveshaft, t-176 manual 4speed, 3" body lift, 1foot extended front bumper for wrecker winch "no winch yet" 33X12.5X15 Wild Country XRT's on chrome wagon wheels, custom spray paint job, lots of rust, dents, oh and a driver that treats it like a jeep "screw the paint I can make it!" Thanks guys....I feel better about my decision. I am trying to arrange to get it today.

I am sure I will have more questions about it once I get it. Is there a way to post a picture of it?

Yeah you can post pics of your rig in the jeep registry, but it helps if you have a website to host the pictures ask some questions in the jeep registry and they will tell you how to do it but please put up a reply letting us know you did post it so we can see it
