Dan in Nampa:

Just saw your post. I live in Boise, jeep stays in McCall. I probably won't change out the gears. The jeep gets me where I want to get in McCall--fishing, hiking, sightseeing.

Had carb rebuilt, and new heater fan (which died). Now I'm ready for winter (and scraping ice from inside, as I've read about)!

My jeep has Acme hard top and doors. I'm looking for locks for the doors, was referred to Austin ( I think the company is), sent them a photo, but no luck.

Do you belong to jeep club in the valley?

Check this out for you door hardware model 206 & 207 look familiar for my acme doors.

Have not tried to hook up with the Jeep club- I have run with High Desert off road club -they have a good mix of vehicles and events but the last couple of years were tough to break free to play.

How about yourself?
