Thanks! It's all hooked up and ready to roll out tomorrow. I found a different shop locally.

I finally got a chance to follow this thread. Very nice work! Are you going to the Muffler Shop in downtown Henderson? I need to get a Bronco done in the next week or so, and haven't decided where to take it.

Thanks! They did the exhaust on my red 7' and they do great work. I'm using Triple A Muffler on Stephanie in Henderson for this time around though.

Fun Fact of the Day!

#1 Don't forget to unlock the steering wheel of the vehicle to be towed when flat towing it. It took me three turns in my neighborhood to figure that one out. Funny how the lead vehicle turns right and the tow vehicle keeps going straight. Makes for an exciting morning!

#2 Any slight wandering or bump steer that your light weight glass bodied CJ normally has is multiplied x 100 when flat towing a heavier steel bodied CJ.

Holy crap that was an interesting trip!!!!!

As I was turning I felt the rear of my Red CJ sliding out so I turned in the same direction and got it all stopped before it could pass 90* and break stuff. Luckily neither Jeep was damaged. I'm grateful no one else was on the road.

I stopped by the shop late tonight and saw that the owner came back after hours to work on my Jeep. I'm very impressed with his work so far, it makes the exhaust system on my other CJ look like junk. I'll try to get complete undercarriage pictures in the morning.

I picked up the Jeep this morning and I am impressed with the work done at this other shop (Triple A Muffler)!!!! Tigerjeep79, I paid a little more than I planned but the quality is far better than the exhaust work done on my other CJ by the Muffler Shop. There is no comparison.

I went with a Y-pipe in 2.5" to the Flowmaster in the stock position (using the original hangers) and single pipe out the back. Smooth bends and clean install. All I need to do is make a hanger for the right rear ebrake cable to suspend it and keep it from contacting the tailpipe.

I hope I never have to tow this thing again, I liken the experience to sitting on a runaway train. The downhills were really bad. I stopped and put some gas in it and now I can't wait to start it and break the engine in. Hope these pictures come through.

Oh yeah, they did some good work. I may have to look into them for the Bronco project (I'm not a traitor, guys. It's a full-size for my teenage son - big heavy and slow is what I want for him).

Are you getting driveshafts from Adam's? They do nice work too.
