I just received my Spectre dual air intake/cleaner assembly and the inlets are at 180*. Needless to say it doesn't clear the brake booster or the throttle cable and the air ducts interfere with my coolant recovery bottle. I think I'm going to resell it along with some other unused parts and just install a standard 14" air cleaner assembly.

Just another idea. I've always liked old chevelles. So i bought a repro dual snorkel for a '65 chevelle. Uses same air cleaner element as stock 360 and the snorkels clear all items in the engine compartment - mostly because they are angled forward.

Looks good, thanks for the info. I'll most likely revisit this setup during the summer months if the open air cleaner causes me any issues.

Nice build. I can appreciate your struggles with getting your transmission mounted. The "weird looking W shaped mount" is an adapter I have been looking for. Are you interested in selling it?

You can have it for the price of shipping, pm me. I found it was cracked after I sandblasted all the crud off. I welded the crack, see pics.

Drive shafts are ordered, looking for a tow bar so I can get it down to the exhaust shop.

Thanks! I picked up a tow bar off CL today and installed the brackets. I'll see what tomorrow brings and try to get it down to the exhaust shop.

These dollies make it so easy to move the Jeep around the garage by myself. I got it all ready to roll to the exhaust shop but they don't have time for it today or tomorrow. I'm hoping Wednesday is the day.

I still love the way the metal cloak fenders look on your rig, makes me want a set.
