The project just got bigger! I picked up (4) 35x12.5x r15 tires off of CL to swap out for the 33's that I will resell.

It looks good, make sure you post some updated pics when you get those tires mounted. I'm liking the paint, would you use that paint again if you had to do it all over?

Interested in seeing how they fit. I'd like to put 35s on mine after all is said and done.

Thanks, will do. I like the color and texture of the paint but if I had to do it over (or would've used the correct primer the first time around) I would 'Monsta' line it inside and out in the tan color. I know I've spent far more in paint than it would've cost to monsta line it and be done.

How do you know? Did you read it on the front page of the newspaper? Was it the major article in a 4x4 magazine? Don't leave us hanging!!

The cheapest I found was Home Depot at $5.77, Walmart around $5.86 and Lowe's is $6.77. I stopped counting after 24 cans. They empty quick and the overspray settles everywhere.

The new tires are Durango AT's and are the same size as the Big O' XT's on my other CJ, however when stood side by side the Durango's are nearly 2 inches taller. Weird.

The fronts will clear with the metalcloak front fenders without any problem. I will trim the corners of the rear wheel wells to match the inner curve of the metalcloak rear fender flare mounts for more clearance also.

I started separating the wiring harness into its smaller sections and realized that I can delete or repurpose some of the wires in it. It should be a nice and clean install.

I got it up on the 35's today! I'd love to post some pics from my iPhone but the site keeps blocking them.

My wire split loom, heater cables, battery tray and other miscellaneous parts came in so I can move ahead with the wiring. Do I need to add or change anything to the wiring to get the LED tailights to work correctly?

I'm going to use the larger TBI throttle body from the 89' 454 setup that I already have and just get a new chip from Howell for the FI. From what I've read, the 350 injectors will be run at their max in the smaller TBI. The 454 TBI unit has 2" bores and higher / more suitable injectors for the 401.
