Brought home a YJ tub today for the CJ. Let the games begin...!

So I've been picking away at the CJ, and it's finally running right and I've gotten to enjoy it for a few months since I finished the 360 swap and the lift installed. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess, because it's time to rip off that ol' bondo-n-rust tub and swap in a nice "new" YJ tub! While the tub is off I'm going to be painting the frame and outboarding the springs for the waggy D44 front and Ford 9" rear. I'll be sure to post progress, but here's a fun shot of the jeep pulling the tub. I'll post some better pics of the tub tomorrow. Cheers!

Looks like you need to rent a bigger trailer next time

Good luck with the teardown and tub swap!

Ha! Yeeeeah... That was the biggest trailer uhaul would let me pull with the CJ, and I don't blame them. I wouldn't have wanted a 6x9 behind that thing, although trailer brakes would have been nice. I had to tow it up an 18mi 5000' elevation gain canyon and even with the 360 and the smaller trailer I couldn't get out of 2nd gear much with the 2.73s. If I had a 6x9 I never would have made it out of 1st
