Brake Booster Test

I am just finishing my 79 CJ7. I drove it around all last weekend and Monday with no problems. But when I pulled it out last night I had almost no brakes. They wont pump up either. Im wondering if the brake booster went out (the Jeep hasnt been driven in about 8yrs) .

How do you test the booster?

If it is bad, will manual brakes be able to stop my Jeep with 33's?

I've got some 11" rear brakes off of a '77 I was going to put on it, but if I have to buy a booster I won't have the money to rebuild them. How bout some advice?

As always, Thanks
Tim
