Brake Booster

I have a 1984 CJ-7 and I need to buy a new brake booster because mine is going out. I have a Chevy 305 engine in the jeep. Do I need a Jeep booster or a Chevy brake booster? How can I tell which one I have? Any help is appreciated!

The 305 has nothing to do with the brake booster. You just need to get a Jeep replacement booster......I'm sure other brands will work, I'm just not sure which ones are compatable with the Jeep master cylinder- I'm sure someone else will chime in.

You might want to look into a VANCO brake system............ do a search on VANCO and you will see why I recommend this. HTH
