Congrats on the CJ.
Can we get a better picture of your Hi Lift jack mounting ? That's what I have in mind for mine.

Congrats on your new Jeep! What axles, transfer case, and gearing does it have? Any mod list? Looks ok and if you are happy that's all that matters. You parting out the wheels on it now for new ones?

I haven't had it long enough to see if it is leaking at all. But where the PO had it parked, I did not notice any oil spots or anything so it may not have any (doubtful) but I have had it parked for 7 hours now and will check in the morning. I will also take pictures of the highlift mount tomorrow. It is mounted on a custom bumper so if yours is stock it won't be exact but you will be able to get a decent idea from it. I also believe all the axle transfer case and gears are stock for a laredo. Haven't got around to listing everything it has, but I will get to it when I get more time to check the every inch of it. I don't think I will buy wheels and tires yet so I am not parting them out for at least a couple months.

I'm guessing it has about a 4 inch lift maybe a 6? Anyone have a better guess? I know it has Rancho shocks that will be replaced because I am not a Rancho fan. Also are the Poison Spyder fenders really completely bolt on/no cutting and no moving of stuff inside the engine compartment like it says on the website? (need to get rid of the hack job the PO did)

And yes I do like my purchase. The stuff that is wrong with it, is all stuff I planned on changing anyway, so no hard feelings either way.

It looks to be a 4" with a Warrior srs and some homemade looking lift shackles.
No body lift.

Oh I am excited about spending money...been saving for a few months just to buy the darn thing, now that I have it I can't wait to spend more on it. I need weekend projects to keep me occupied and now that I have something to build on I should be set for most of the summer!

cj 7 are cool

I have had mine since 94 .Congrats! Now you need to do two things 1 get rid of the diamond plate back corners they cause more rot than salt water ;next put one piece axles in the back. You will thank me later when you are not stuck on a trail with spun axles. Mine was really the coolest ooch that I ever had when the tire fell off with the hub still attached.

Rear should be an AMC 20, unless its been swapped. They have round diff covers.

2004 Grand Limited 4.7 HO - OH Boy!

2010 Grand Laredo 5.7 Hemi - SICK - work vehicle -gone - replaced by an 08 Tahoe - nice ride.

Correct. AMC ran out of AMC20 axles near the end of the manufacturing run of the 1986 model, so they had to substitute something. They chose the D44.

Looks to me like ya got yerself a real Jeep there. Congraduations, felecitaciones or whatever is politically correct these days. I tend to lose track.
