Bought my CJ5 hard top, now can anyone identify it (Pics)

I went and bought my hard top that I made the other thread about yesterday. I finally got some time to snap a few pics to see if anyone can identify it for sure. The guy I bought it from said he thought it was an ACME, but their isn't a badge so I'm not sure. Let me know opinions guys. Also, anyone know where I can get some door strikers and attachment hardware for it? SOrry for the crappy pics, all I had was my camera phone.

No clue but looks kinda neat. I like the way the door windows open from either end.
How does the latch work? Do you have to add something on the door opening?

Do you like them? Any quirks about them. Also, would you still have the key for the doors? I need to see what the key looks like before I have a lock smith come cut me a set. One last thing, how does the door lock work from the inside? I though you just twisted the little thing, but that doesn't seem to be doing it.

You have a plate with a normal type striker on it that you mount in the door opening on the tub that it latches to. Similar to the set-up you'd find on an average passenger car. Works very well, and means you don't have to slam the crap out of it to get it to seal.

I'd say the only thing that bothered me was the windows didn't slide well, but that can be easily fixed. My doors have a regular door lock that you push down on top of the interior of the door, so no help there. I'll get you a picture of the key tomorrow.

Allright, thanks. How do you get yours to latch? I can get the front slier to latch but the rear just won't go back far enough. Also, how did you weather strip the lift gate? And is the lower gate designed to come off?

I have the same top. On the lift gate mine is stamped at the top Classic, I don't know if it is a Acme or what. I love it, hard to find though. I moved my striker up to the top instead of on the dreaded hump, which means you have to reconfigure the inside of the doors also. If you are used to working on Jeep's it will be no problem.

Why did you decide to move it? Was it a problem inside the door?

Damn nice top! I want to do the same thing with my rear hatch. Actuall, I may just seal it shut totally or have the glass open. I like your paddle style handles too. I have the slam latches which work well but it's an awkward reach to open the door. your sliding windows in the back are nice too.

Thanks, from what I see you guys saying I think I did good at 900 after gas money to go get it. Plus, only work it needs is figuring out how to weather strip the hatch.

Looks like the Acme units I've seen.

The only reason I moved it from the hump to the hardtop was the ease of getting in and out. The striker would be right where you slide in and out and it's hard enough anyway so I never installed mine the way it was designed, I changed it all before I ever used it

Ah, got ya. How did you install your hatch weather stripping to stop it from leaking?
