LOL! Thanks, Jim!
I am starting to plan my steps for putting it all back together... certain things like making sure the windshield frame is on before the dash goes in, etc... Looking for any tips to those who have been through the re-assembly process...
They used PPG products.

One tip on putting it together is to use anti-sieze on all of your bolts.
Thanks on the paint brand, I've looked at that and even have a dealer close to home. Seems to be great stuff.

Good tip. I definitely plan to use anti-sieze and loctite, where necessary, on all the bolts, especially the stainless bolts!
I will also use contact cleaner and corrosion stop on the electrical connections!
As for the paint brand... the paint shop I chose is more of a hot rod restoration shop. They swear by the PPG brand.

Awesome Boom, It is a great feeling to finally have it covered in paint. Can't wait to see it going back together.

That hood looks as smooth as glass!

That place looks like a nice clean, well organized shop to say the least. I can tell your paint job will be of high quality. Unlike the place I chose where they had to do the hood over twice because of flaws and runs in the paint when the spray booth was too cold.
Congrats on choosing a fine shop to do your paint as it shows!

Keith,
Did your shop cut and buff your tub and parts at least one time after the clear coats were applied? It is like Mike (Coiz) illustrated in his thread...
The pictures you are seeing are right out of the paint booth. The camera does a great job of hiding the dust bunnies that get stuck in the clear and also any orange peel. Once they 'cut & buff' it will smooth it out much more.

Yeah they cut and buffed correctly, just a unorganized and dusty shop that I would never recommend to anyone living in my area. My paint is smooth as glass too but the owner does not do the painting and that is why I waited so long to get it done. He gets two guys from a Ford dealership to paint his cars on the side. They were as good as they come, it was the shop I had my Jeep at that was not.

Yeah... After seeing the red paint, I am psyched to get it back on the road!

Fuel Tank & Skid Plate
Worked on the fuel tank this weekend. Cleaned it up and installed new check valve & grommets. The rubber between the tank and skid plate were in good enough shape to clean up and use. I had the skid plate powder coated. I had replaced the rubber hoses a few months back. Sending unit and sock filter were also replaced at that time.

That is the optional 20 gallon poly tank. It does hang down a little lower than the 15 gallon when mounted.
