And so it begins....The Teardown!!
I started to tear down the Jeep in order to replace the tub and front clip. I needed to give the roll bar, half doors and windshield frame to the painters this week. I was able to tear through it pretty fast and also made sure I put all little pieces in baggies, etc.
I also tried to take a lot of pictures, as I am sure I will need them when attempting the rebuild....
Sort of bittersweet, as I just got the driveline dialed in a few days ago!! Oh well, it should all be worth it in the end. Right? :-)

Boom....I've been meaning to ask ya. What are you going to do with the old tub?
Will the new dash being going in when the new tub goes on?
I heading down your way in May to visit my good friends in Chandler, maybe I could come by and see first hand how you're doing.

I will sell whatever I do not use on Craigslist. Yes, the new dash will go in during the rebuild.
Would be great to meet up with you in May! Hopefully, I will have it back together by then!! If not, bring your tools! :-)

I removed the tub today. I think my neighbors might think I am crazy for building it up only to tear it down again.

Just a simple question for you Boom, is that exhaust coming through the rear spring pack going to get crushed the first time you stuff the wheel up? I am only asking because I have seen many systems but none that come through the spring pack.
