Body Mounts Problem

When I recently pulled the tub of of my CJ5, several of the body mounting bolts wouldn't come out and I had to saw them off. It would appear that up in the body supports have a nut welded inside where you can't get to it, and apparently the welds have broken off. Basically, I kept turning the bolt and it never came out until I got the grinder out and cut off the bolt head.

Any ideas on how to correct this?

I'm wondering this too. I'm afraid to take my mounts out to replace them.

I was thinking... just drill a hole through the floorand put a bolt all the way through. Is this a good solution?

Thats certainly a potential solution. I'll have to look at where the bolt heads would be located and make sure they don't interfere with seat mounts or anything else.

It looks like a major body work job to cut out the floor pans.
