Body mount toeboard

One last question on a replacement stock body mount kit. The toeboard mounts on originals have a larger diameter head on spacers than what was in kit, which all spacers had same diameter. Should I try to re-use originals or the ones supplied in kit. This is on a 1979 CJ-7 and the kit is made from Crown I think. Anyone know why toeboard sleeves different? I understand the sleeves are also longer at this position and the larger isolater bushings on bottom but why a different head diameter? Thanks for any help and insight!
