Bittersweet CJ7 addition

I'm happy to be a new CJ7 owner but sad how I got there. My uncle recently passed away. He was the guy that taught me how to hunt and drive a manual. We always took his Jeep when we went hunting. Much to my surprise he left it to me in his passing. It was his daily driver until a few months ago when it lost the 4th gear synchro and the carb took a dump. He did a resto on everything but the drivetrain. I'm going back down to Ft Lauderdale to pick it up in a few weeks. I've been on here all the time recently reading as much as I can and have learned a lot from you guys already! I'll post some pics up later

Here it is now after about six years in southern FL. He hadn't driven it in a while due to the above problems. It sprouted some new rust spots but nothing I can't fix.

Pics don't work. Im sorry to hear about your uncle. You must have been close for him to leave the jeep to you. Enjoy it.
