Hey Bill how's the vacation going? Just how many do you take a year by the way? You act like you're practicing for retirement

Jim he is retired (work has to put up with him an other year and a half) and is on Honeydo strike with the Misses!!!!!!!!

Of course when he says that to the boss and things go bad for Billy he says the honeydo strike was all my idea.

I heard yesterday he was on Pikes Peak and it was 27 degrees with snow.

Well that explains it George. I had suspected it to be that way. Hope he took a hat so his head isn't cold.

On a side note. I talked to the Skipper Thursday and he's been real busy. Wife says not more pretty nails for him though. She rules that boy with an iron fist.

I did wear a hat Jim.

Friday is our last day in Moab, we've done some awesome trails. I have had to do some minor repairs to the CJ. This one.

image-1877403477.jpg

New spark plugs.
Some wiring work.
New fuel pump.
Had to bump timing by 3 degrees to run at 7000' above sea level. At Moab (4800') it runs fine.
A pusher electric radiator fan to supplement the fixed fan ( no fan shroud).

More later.

Bill

Driving up Mount Evans in Colorado, at the end of May. This is the highest paved road in the USA. It rained, sleeted and snowed on the way up.

Your welcome Matt, money we'll spent!!
This is the view from the house we stayed at while in Moab

image-1922455747.jpg

Every day in Moab there hasn't been a cloud in the sky, low in the morning around 60, hi about 90. Yesterday we put about 90 miles on the Jeeps. We went on a easier trail called "Top of the World.

image-1122391115.jpg

Pictures don't do the view justice, I felt it was better than the Grand Canyon.

While in Moab we did The Moab rim trail, Top of the world, He!!'s Revenge, Fins and Things, and Metal Masher. Today is a day off, we're going to do some more driving and drive Long Canyon, this is basically a gravel road with a lot of switch backs and high canyon walls on both sides.

George if memory serves me didn't someone decide Bill was a "defective unit" a while back?

Nice pictures Bill. Looks like you all are having a great time!

Yes Jim that defective unit comment was me.
FYI Billy blew his "head" gasket a long time ago and never repaired it and a subsequent compression on Billy's noggin test show unbalanced cylinders, hardly any intake however there is a lot of exhaust!
