Nice, for sure, and I'm sure pricey as well. You are probably close. Once i find a buyer for my 5th wheel. I hope to pick up a goose-neck and a small camper to add to it for a big toy hauler.

I really like BIG RED, more importantly Vicki likes it!! A "V nose would give better fuel mileage , but there aren't a lot of used ones with a tall enough rear door for the 5', with any kind of front. In fact in 6 months of looking, I didn't find any. All Vicki had to have was AC and a toilet , big red had that and more, the price was right too.

Matt I ain't worried about Bill shooting me.
If you ever see his glasses you will understand why soft drinks and beer come in cans and plastic.
Glass got too expensive after Billy had his glasses made.

Regular glasses won't hold up to the wind when I'm riding the Harley West on I70 at a buck and a half!
I don't see a thing wrong with my glasses.

It's your old eyes old timer.

Here ya go Scott. GAMO Diana, same color as mine , with a scope. I bought it for Blake around '89. I also have a Sheridan 5mm Silver Streak that belonged to my Grandfather , I probably first shot it in the mid '60's.
This a newer one than mine. Killed a bunch of pigeons in the barn with this one.

Here's the GAMO.

No, but I think your wide enough, I won't miss with the cap. In fact, I think I'll use the GAMO on your feeble self, 1 .177 should be enough the "drop you like a bad habit"

The old Sheridan is .22 isn't it? Neat old rifle. I never had one, but I do have the Gamo .177. Also got the Savage .17HMR... it's even MORE fun!

I believe 5mm is just a little under a .22, the Sheridan is a nice multi pump a out 650 fps. Here's a better picture.

image-1232789823.jpg

I used it so much that Grandpa had to take it to a blacksmith shop to have a new rivit put in the pump arm. It has a thumb safety that requires holding down when pulling the trigger. And way better than the Crossman 760 that I had.

My kids noses run more than the CJ. I haven't touched it since we last talked! The semester started, and the house construction continued, and the baby kept me busy, blah, blah, blah. Hopefully, next month I'll get a few evenings to rebuild the carb, and get it singing. Still need seats and a windshield, and bleed the brakes. Once those few big things are done it will roll. We closed on our house (the one we sold) after 2 years on the market, and now I can get down to serious business on the house. The house takes major precedence over the Jeep, so I will have to take a few minutes here and there on it as I can. It has been sitting on jackstands for a few months now. I have been DDing the J20 up until two weeks ago, but the leaks are so bad, I have to park it until I can get it to the shop. With the CJ and the house, I am going to let them do the rear main seal, and put in a new fuel pump (it started leaking a few weeks ago- just a tiny bit, but it has been getting worse). I don't have time for the truck work right now. Haven't been here lately because of school, but I am done until January 13th or so. Hope you and Vick are doing well. I will call you sometime soon. If I don't talk to you before next week, have a great Christmas!

Just getting caught up Bill. I think you will like the Smith AR. I look at the shorties every gun show. My Father In Law recently bought an Armalite A4. It shoots nice..... not as nice as my 80s A2. Will be shooting it this Friday if it don't rain! I have an inexpensive 3-9x40 Vortex Diamond back scope on mine and put nice groups on paper from 100-400 yds.

Now if I could just convince the wife to let me buy an M14....
