Oh man, I chased everyone away without meaning to. Makes me remember high school in the 70's!

Were all waiting to see pictures of your Jeep!

Post them here, in my thread

I bought this from a member here. I am in the strange position of not being able to complain about the PO.

Nope... you can't complain about that one!

It is nice, and Matt was very honest with me. There are always issues though, especially since it only has 448 miles since it was reassembled. One rear axle seal is leaking. Worst problem so far is that I can move the output yoke from the D300 up/down/sideways about 1/8 of an inch. It's not the u-joint, it's the actual TC shaft moving. I am hoping the yoke wasn't torqued properly, I should have a new nut for it in a couple of days depending on the delivery man. Meanwhile I get to work on it instead of driving it.

Otherwise it seems that everywhere I look there are new parts, some of them are even tightened down! I gotta say having the Painless wiring harness in it is my favorite thing so far.

I can't imagine having a CJ that doesn't leak or squeak! Although that is my goal. Actually, I CAN imagine it. You have a great base to start with.

I didn't mean to imply it doesn't leak or squeak

I think the closest to leak free we can get is "just about to start leaking again"

Lee,

Around here, we don't refer to it as "leaking". Your CJ is just marking its territory.

Welcome to the Seniors With CJs Forum!!

I informed my wife that the Joop is just marking its territory in the garage and driveway. She simply said it's not allowed on her side of the 2 car garage.

I have a theory that CJ's are like dogs or cats, they smell where they have marked before and do it again to refresh the scent.

When your CJ starts following you around and marking its territory in the same spot you just took a leak, that's when you need to start worrying.
