Hey Bill that GE-tar is perfect fer playing country songs ( see playing country you dont hafto know how to play think of ole two note Johny Cash) and the more outta tune that thing is the more authentic the country music is.

So since you south of 80 but north of the Mason Dixon line your music would be considered country lite!

So you can write and sing a song about a certain mutual friend who's name is Scott but we wont mention that.

I think the song should be called pipe bending perils!

"To do list.
1. Install fuel tank. Done, need new filler and vent hoses
1a. Buy and install radiator. Installed and full of coolent
2. Buy and install new auto floor shifter. Installed, except for backup lights, and interlock
3. Run all new lines to the rear brakes, and check them over.
4. New glass for the windshield. It currently has piece of duct taped in lexan.
5. Make a new tranny tunnel cover, shouldn't be hard, just use the old one has a pattern.
6. Repair the drivers floor pan.
7. Double check all the bolts that were taken out and put back, for tightness.
8. Put the hood scoop on the glass front clip and install it, Then paint.
9. Install the junk yard 4wd shift lever ( early 90's Suburban), and make a new rod from the TC to the lever.
10. New front and rear drive shafts
11. CJ dash install.
12. Mount a CJ tire carrier cause I'm using a CJ top on a YJ tub. I have this worked out and made, just need to install it.
And probabley 5 or 6 other things I can't think of right now.

Pictures later, Bill

I did, it must have been close to 30 hours. The goal for the week was to get it moving under its own power.

I took some pictures of what I did this past week. Hopefully I'll get them up later.
Thanks for looking, It ran so good for the 1/4 mile I drove, I'm more motivated than before.
It was a bit loud, no tranny tunnel cover, exhaust right out of the manifolds. It was cool when the secondarys opened up on the quadrajet.

Looks like I'm going to need a add-a-leaf added to the front. When I took the picture, there was 400 lbs. Of stuff in the back.

Bill

Nice work. You're right, it does look a little nose heavy.

Thanks Mike. Found a little problem with the heating system. The fan works, heat comes out, but not much. I think I found the issue.

On edit, I just took that picture this afternoon. I then left to get some cigars, drove 8 miles. Came out from from the cigar shop. Guess what was still on the light.
You have got to be kidding me. Haha ask me about driving to a fire call, afterwards back at the station there's the coffee cup still on the front bumper.(this happends a lot with everybody)

I did that once, left my wallet and checkbook on the back of the TBABSW, drove about 25 miles to work and realized where it was, and it was still there.

A jeep part is one thing, wallet and checkbook is serious.

Ok, whats TBABSW

Cleaned the garage a little after the test drive, and mouse house. Gave the Jeep the rest of the day off.

I need to look into how to post on Youtube.

If I worked a 8 hour day at work, and didn't have a awesome wife, I wouldn't be half this far. My 24 on, 48 off work schedule allows for a lot of jeep time.
Still a lot to do.

My guess at TBABSW is "Totally Bad A$$ Blue Station Wagon"! But he is too embarrassed to tell us he drove a pretty blue station wagon!

Way to go, Bill. Wish I had your motivation. Great work. I think your mouse cousins came to Florida for vacation!

Scott, you are pretty dang close!

The Big A$$ Buick Station Wagon, was gift from my stepdad about a year after our wedding in 1992. It was huge, floated like shrimp boat on the Gulf of Mexico and arrived at our house complete with AC and a train horn...
