I'd say it matches the garnet pretty well! And they look classy, yet comfy!

Thanks men. After driving it I think the seats are closer to 2" lower. That's a good thing. It's also a little harder getting in and out , I'd say its do to the side bolsters and the bottom being lower where your butt is. It's worth it. Thou.

I'm not gonna guess what you weigh, but you and a passenger sitting 2" lower gives you a lower CG hahahaha! And that is good.

Yea, and it's faster too. Fixing the clutch and the new seats add about 50 horsepower. Seriously. I think I'll wax the exterior for another 10. And remove the spare tire for 5 more. Watch for the leaf blower upgrade.

Hey Bill I thought there was a law on the books that say if you run purple velrour seat you are required to have fuzzy dice hanging off the rear view mirror? On second thought maybe thats Texas or Florida

Funny you should bring up the dice , MoC said he might send me some for Christmas, so maybe Louisiana also.

So I have about a 100 miles in the new seats. I feel like I'm riding in the Jeep and not on the Jeep. It's Definitely not the same experience,
I feel like I've taken part of the CJ experiance away. When I had the seats in my Jimmy I didn't feel that way.
On the way to work this morning, the thought actually crossed my mind that it is now more similar to the TJ. I'll give it a couple weeks and see how I feel then.

Weird, I have Gran Prix seats in my trail 7 and S10 seats in my good Khaki colored jeep. And don't feel this way about them. Maybe because they are modified somewhat , and the DD is all stock.

O and George, I bet my seats match a leisure suit you had back in the day! Remember the one you wore to the Disco, and danced to Sister Sledge, Donna Summer, and the Sound trac from Saturday Night Fever, starring the BeeGees.
