Excellent! Glad I could help. Is that pic a preset size? Small or medium?

I think it was small. I'm going over stuff, do some more practice, make 2 notes, one on how its done, the other, the location of the first note.

I'm in the process of trying to delete the previous pictures, and repost them.

Jeeze, I'd rather rebuild a BBD.

I thought computers meant paperless. You should see my notes.

This picture is medium, kind of expresses how I feel. It was taken at Tybee Island,GA. last year on Vacation, in a bar. Notice the spike holding it to the wall.

Since the thread title includes General BS (Big Sister) I'll go large this time.

Bill

On edit, changed to medium, it looked like to many kb's

I have most the items I need to finish. need to by the conversion radiator, and probably a SYE for the tc.

Have one more picture. Looks like plenty of room.

I'm looking foward to driving this YCJ. With 4.10 gears and the 700r4, and 235 tires. I'm courious how long the Dana 35 will hold up. The plus of this D-35 is no c-clip. I think the C-clip started in 1990.

Thanks again to Paul ( VACJ7) For helping me with picture sizing.

A couple more things to mention. I wanted to use the NP208 TC, that came with the engine/transmission, for cost reasons. Its not worth the effort because of the passenger side drop. The 241c is Drivers side, a direct bolt on, and out of a 1/2 or 3/4 ton Chevy truck.
Scott, the glass front clip has a 12.5" hole in the center of the hood. It came off of a drag/mud Jeep, I do have a stick on scoop to cover the hole. Your advise on the hole would be appreciated. I'll get a picture Wednesday.

Costs to date.

241 TC, $200. (Junk yard)
The YJ, basically free, when you consider selling the engine , and the SS parts.
Engine and transmission, with the complete 1983 1/2 ton Chevy truck. $500, sold the tires for $200, used the 10 bolt front in my CJ5. Kept the tilt steering colume, used the 15x8 rims and added weld on bead locks for $120, for the 5. Used the bed liner to cover firewood. Scraped the rest for $190.
Glass front clip $150. The hole was free
YJ 20 gallon gas tank, with skid $25, ( junk yard).

Geeez, Bill... let me know what vitamins you're taking. I need some of them!

For the hole in your head... er, HOOD... there's a couple of ways that I can think of... what is the goal? Keeping dirt/water out, or n-i-i-ice?

Went to the badlands off road park (Attica, IN.)the weekend before last. Wheeled with the club, a 1954 3b (all stock except for the tied in cage, power steering and lunch box lockers)

The Scrambler unkown year, with a SBC. And my 1979 Q-trac.

Just one poser shot.
