I bet you will love the Cummin's, hope that a decade from now, you don't hate the gift wrapped box the engine came in...I had three in the late 90's, the 5.2 was a toad and the 5.9 TD's a hoss, all the rest tolerable.

This is my 3rd Dodge truck, 1st was a '95 . The tranny started to act up so I traded it for a '98 ( bought it new) at 38k the rear end went out . The extended warranty Fixed that. It was a wash, the ex warranty was $700 , the same as the repair cost. At 40k the Tranny OD quit working. That's when I bought the F 350. Neither the '95 or the '98 got better than 14 mpg. The cup holders were the best thing about both of the Dodge trucks.
The Cummins was the main reason for the latest Dodge truck. I won't know until June how it tow's the CJ hauler. I do have high Expectations though.

It seems like I'll need a serious talk with the youngest daughter and her husband . I guess they were just to lazy to take my Grandaughter to pick out a tree for Christmas. They sent her by herself.

Hi Dave, I talked to Jim a week ago, he told me he's really busy with work. Not much if any CJ stuff being done in Missouri. Patti and Jim are doing well!

Scott, he owes me a call, the last 2 times I talked with him he had drank 3 beers , ( i think this explains the sweating leaks and what a riot). He either needs to cut off the beer, or build a little tolerance :-) . Hahahaha!!!

I just saw Scott's update last nigh after I posted. I called Jim and didn't reach him a few weeks ago and emailed too, but I recall he was having some computer issues.

How are you liking the new Dodge?

:-) the Dodge is in the neighbors insulated pole barn with a Battery tender hooked up. I haven't driven it since 3 days after Thanksgiving. The county put down a metric crap ton of salt on the roads in preparation of a snow fall.
I don't imagine I will drive it till April.
I drive either the '78 CJ , or the Rubicon, usually it's the CJ . I know it will be the CJ this AM, we got 6" of snow overnight, the plow is on and she's ready for work.

Yes I saw that a couple months ago. The funny part about this is where and the he!! Is there anywhere in IL. besides Taylorville and the cliffs in Marseilles to ride. There is Brushy Ridge by Astoria also.

I'd rather go to the Badlands anyway.

What do you think the chances are that any of the $ generated will go for the intended purpose. Remember the state and the people elected to serve us ( what a joke that is) are the same people who didnt live up to the pension Contributions they promised. The retired school teachers keep there end of the promise.
And like all the other bills , they left out riding horses and mountain bike riders who ride on state land.

Note to self, before pushing 7" of wet heavy snow, be sure the Dana 20 is completly in 4 low. Not just part way so that only the rear axle is in 4 low.
