Bigdan's 79 CJ 7 Rebuild

I started on it sunday with my Dad, it had been in the shed since 1998.

new springs and body mount bushings to start, lockers front and rear. The motor was rebuilt before it was parked, it had 44's on it, put the 35's on it few years ago but it stopped there.

Pulled the wheel and replaced the lock cylinder and ignition block

Have fun, and enjoy the time with your Dad. The time you spend with him means a great deal to him now and will to you later. I have a 17 yo son and we build a lot and even though we can go through some money, it is priceless.

He turned 75 in July, been trying to do more with him. It will not be cheap but worth every bit.

Finished the ignition switch today and charged the battery, little starter fluid and (click pic for a sound clip)

We got the it started last week, so I pulled it out today and pressure washed it.
