BFG KM's - Are they phased out?

I am currently running BFG MT's (pre KM series) on my CJ. These tires have been on my jeep forever and its time to change them out. I can only seem to find the BFG KM2's. I would prefer the KM's as they are a more similar tread pattern to what I currently have. Are the KM's being phased out? Where can I find them online? Also does BFG offer the KM's in 13.50 width for 15" wheels?

I have been considering Toyo's but at about $100 more per tire I would like to save the cash. I do like the Toyo's though....just not sure if I like them $500 more.

KM's were only offered in the 255/75R17 size, so I don't think that they were really big to begin with. I had KM's on my JK before I went to 35" KM2's, and I really like the KM2's on that Jeep.

1978 CJ5 - 304 V8 - Twin Sticked and sitting on 35's
2010 JK- Rock Krawler 2.5" on 35" KM2's

Just looking at the pictures on National Tire & Wheel the tread design looks more all terrain or maybe for rock crawling purposes than mud. My intended use willl be a daily driver as well as mud and rugged terrain from time to time. I love my old BFG's and the Toyo tread pattern is very similar and the Toyos are from all accounts a quality tire. Man I hate to change over. How are the KM2s off road in non rock crawling scenarios? I am sure they handle rugged terrain fairly well but what is the mud performance like compared to KM's or the older MT tread design?

KM's are gone, unfortunately. I have a set of 31x10.50's on my tan Jeep I bought (I think) in 2004. They've only got about 5K miles on them now. Think when I have to replace them I'll go with the KM2, but dang have the prices gone up on tires! Paid $600 with tax, mounting, and road hazard when I got the KM's.

I'm with you though. I prefer the KM over the KM2
