Best way to clean an engine.

So I am working on cleaning up my engine, it is hanging on a cherry picker. I took everything of the manifold and taped off the holes. Should I spray some degreaser on it and power wash it? How did you guys do it?

Power washing is always dangerous. Just be careful and you will be fine. Dont get too close to your gaskets.

I usually use a few spray cans of some brake cleaner or degreaser. Work it with a wire bristle brush. I don't think I would go with the pressure washer. You might jack something up doing that...
