Well, I got my gauges last night from the the Big Brown Truck. I went ahead with the Autometer Sport Comp 2 5/8" gauges from Summit. Oil Press. and Water Temp. are mechanical and fuel and voltmeter, of course, electrical.
I'll give that mechanical oil press. gauge another try with this brand instead of Stewart Warner. I'll pick up a copper tube up today as the new one is plastic. These gauges have a deep bezel but are larger diameter so I'll see what happens. May as well check into the LED light conversion as well, nows the time.
