I saw a Corvette Racing Yellow on a Jeep and it look awsome. I wish I would have seen it before mine got painted Ford Redfire. It was a little expensive, but I like it. I can't wait until I get my jeep done so I can put the body on it.
1980 CJ7 Rebuild:
Frame painted with a Rough Country 2.5" lift and shocks installed.
Alot of money spent on parts that are all over including a new 258.
I gotta agree with JIM79CJ7, Orange Baby!! As soon as I finish up my 75 CJ, it's getting a coat of Prowler Orange. Sorta metallic Orange used for 1 year on the Plymouth Prowler. Actually I like the bright, vibrant colors. Yellow looks good, I also like the Amber Fire on my Dakota.

Purple of course! Why? Because it's not the standard, white, red, blue, black yellow!

I am restoring my 1986 CJ-7. It has the factory original black paint (faded). In paint shop right now getting a "Carbon Black" BMW M-3 paint (Paint code Carbon Schwarz # 416). Gonna be awesome. Only problem with this paint is your body can not have ANY dents. Even the factory welds/rivet areas have to be worked out. When you are finished - it is "Perfection".
