Cj BEST Brake pads? '85 CJ7

What are the BEST brake pads that folks are leaning toward these days? I have a 1985 CJ7 with front disc brakes.
The rotors are smooth so I thought I'd swap out pads while I wait on some additional Jeep parts that got back-ordered.

Right now I am looking at Wagner, Bendix or Raybestos brands.

I run semi metallic, not too particular about the brand. Never had any problems with any.

Yeah, I like the semi-metallic's too. I may get the Raybestos since its NASCAR's #1 choice, lol.

I drive my CJ like a stolen sports car. I was warping rotors if you can believe that. Parts guy said the Wagners are more, but worth it. I got the rotors and the nicer pads (dust free). Smooth braking......better stopping, and no more warped rotors. WAGNER

Going with Wagner. I read up on them and they are a good choice. Cheers!

What is the real difference between the Wagner ZX203 vs. the MX203? Is the difference really noticeable?

Go to NAPA, and ask for OEM spec pads.
Do NOT go to ceramic pads with OEM rotors. The rotors won't last at all.
