Yep... easy rebuild. You said it sat for awhile? Gas varnished up the jets maybe? Piece of trash in the jets? No sweat. The rebuild kit does a couple different models, so you'll have parts left over. I have the NAPA part number in my shop if you need it.

Let us know how much trash you find in the bowl when you pull it apart

Gido, are you right close to Ocean Pond? Spent a good bit of time down there on that water growing up!

All I can say is holy CRAP!!! I hope my homemade shaker works. I couldn't get the jets out. Didn't try very hard. I will have to get a power valve. It is shot. I don't know how this thing was running.

That last pic!!! That is soooo Redneck!! Rebuild kit should have a power valve in it, although mine didn't fit.

I am starting to wonder if I got the wrong kit. My jeep is an 80 model but it's. OT the original engine and the fuel pump that I replaced was from a 74 model 304. Would there be a difference in the model carburetor?

Gido, I had the same PW. I think it is for the 2150. I reused mine. My gaskets were correct however. I don't know what you have with that gasket. Does it fit, and you need to make your own holes??

No it doesn't fit. Too small to make holes. My power valve is bad. The gasket inside is cracking bad.

That's def a 2150 kit. My Wagoneer takes that one. If I was at home I could tell you the right kit #(I'm in Tamper, Fl..hangin' with your Florida Cracker boys).

Edit: just did some quality hotel research. The PV in your kit is a two stage PV, vs a single stage. Still researching... I'm stumped. Still don't understand why that's the only gasket you received either.
