Backspacing question

I've been searching craigslist for wheels and tires, and have found a couple nice sets.
Although the wheels are said to fit "dodge, ford, jeep"- the backspacing is 3.5", and I'm fairly sure I need to looking for 3.75. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but if they'll work, I might pick up some low cost wheels.

They will work, only difference will be your track width will be 1/2" wider, not noticeable.

You need to know the rim width... the same backspacing on a 7", 8", and 10" wide rim gives you a different wheel offset.

That's one of the topics I covered here.

The wheels I've been looking at are 15 x 10. So- compared to my stock wagon wheels (15 x 8 I think), losing .25 backspacing adds .5 in width to the stance, but going from stock to 15 x 10 is gonna add 4" total? But they will work.
