what is it and how do you fix it? thanks
Axel wrap is when you either accelerate or stop so fast with a car with leaf springs on all for corners, that you couse the springs to shape like an 'S'. You are applying enough force to rotate the axel and spring together. Traction bars can fix this but there are a lot more advanced solutions on the market now. Someone will surely mention a few brand names or correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.
It's rare to have significant axle wrap if your springs are on the bottom of the axle, which nearly all (if not all) unmodified CJs are.
