Axle oil leak

I own an 81 CJ-7. Last year, it was leaking oil from the rear axle on the driver side. (The brake drum was covered in oil etc.) I had the oil seals and bearings replaced last summer, but now its leaking again. I recently parked on a slight uphill grade where the driver-side wheel was lower than the other, and nearly all the oil poured out onto the ground. Whats my problem now, if the seals and bearings are new?

Your axle tubes may be bent, that supposedly causes the new seals to leak soon after changing everything. I haven't had this happen to my rig, but thats what everyone told me when I fixed my leaking axle a year ago... so far, no leaks.

make sure the vent tube on the axle is not clogged. If it is clogged, pressure builds up in the axle and blows the oil out through the seals.

if the vent tube is clogged and forcing the gear fluid past the axle seals, will unclogging the vent tube fix the leaking? my axle leaks a bunch of fluid every once in a blue moon, but when it leaks... it leaks a lot, other times it doesn't leak at all.

It could be an intermitant clog? Just make sure the axle vent is clear. When I checked mine I took it off and blew compressed air through it. Surprisingly alot of stuff came out, how it got there I don't know? It helped my repetitive leak. lol
