Axle on my 1977 CJ7

I just bought a 1977 CJ7 and being new to CJ's I am trying to find out what all my Jeep has and it all looks stock but on the rear axle I can't find the info plate. The book says it is an AMC 8 7/8. Is a Dana 35 the same thing?

if its stock your front should be DANA 30 , and the rear should be AMC model 20.
EDIT:
AMC 20 => http://www.rwkhaussupply.com/magento...gory/AMC20.jpg

Is the rear axle round? If not it's probably a Dana 44

This means the round cover in the rear.

Ok it looks like it is a model 20. Now my next question is does Lube Locker make gaskets for those and are they really worth it?

Don't see one on their website. You could buy 5 regular gaskets for the price of a Lube Locker
