anyone see a problem with this????

thought about flipping my tie rod and the one that goes between my pitman arm and knuckle. its a stock CJ setup. any know of any problems with this?

Yep there's a problem with doing that. The holes that the tie-rod ends go through in the knuckle are not a straight hole. They are tapered with the larger end at the bottom. This taper is there to prevent any play or movement in the joint.

go to www.trailhed.com and click on his projects link and then on his suspension link. Under that suspension link there is a write up on how he mounted his tie rod and drag link on top of the knuckle. It is actually a pretty good write up. My roommate has his set up like that and I am going to do it eventually. All it takes is money!
