Anyone install a Howell TBI???

If so...how do you like it now.
Since I live in the San Diego CA area I need to smog the Jeep every two years.
The BBD is a pos and a Weber or Motocraft 2100 won't pass smog here.
I'm thinking of bitting the bullet and dropping the $$$ for a TBI unit.

I've had it on my 360 for a few years. Great upgrade, I'd do it again. The install was simple.

Did it on my 83 Scrambler with 258-6 about 3 1/2 years ago. Would do it again in a second. Makes the vehicle start and run like a modern vehicle, no "carb"-type issues whatsoever. Runs great cold, starts right up any time, idles great, runs great at speed, never anything to tinker with. Love it.

Thanks guys!!!
Was it an easy install?
Anything I should look out for when I do the swap...that is when I get $1,300 together.
Is the Mopar MPI really any better.
It's hard to justify spending twice the amount on a EFI conversion.

Look for a group buy on one of the forums.
