I run a 15gal mounted behind the drivers seat. I wanted to still have some cargo room in the back and have never had a back seat anyway.

I just purchaseda 10 gal on ebay....has sump, foam filled, dual outlet, rollover valve, vent, sender and is aluminum for 175. Im gonna mount it behind the back seat on the passenger side and run stainless braided line then I may run onboard air on the drivers side next to it......

im also in the same position, although i already have a fuel cell....

mine is a 15 gallon located temporarily in the back area.. ratchet strapped to the seat mounts.

id like to get one of those rci fuel cells like kickingprop has, because i believe they will fit between the tailgate and rear seat.

one thing i can tell you from experience, is dont mount your fuel pump in the cab. my holley fuel pump is very loud and annoying..

Fuel cell inside a hardtop cab seems like a really bad idea. Is it externally vented? Have any fume issues? I hope you don't smoke while driving.

Mine is externally vented below next to the frame as shown here:

I also dont have a hardtop luckily (or Unluckily)

My fuel pump is mounted along the frame as well and gets pretty noisy on warmer days but its not overheating as best I can tell from checking it periodically...no pic of the pump...sorry!

I'm working on a Jeep I just bought and am considering a fuel cell behind the front seats for a few reasons. Id like to know if anyone has any safety concerns with fuel cells in the cab in the event of a rollover or other accident? Thanks. Mike.

I had the same idea and concerns in the event of a roll over.

I'm also thinking fuel cell. What I would like to know is, do you think it changed your cog?

Id say it must. But I doubt it would be noticable. A 15 gallon fuel cell full will weigh under 100 lbs? And you are raising it maybe 12".
