Any Orginal Format Cj5 and CJ7s?

Any Orginal Format Cj5 and CJ7s pictures? Restored or not.

with 8 inch rims or 6 inch rims?

15 inch or 16 inch diameter rims?

I would like to rims and tires common in the cj7 era.

Plus I would like to see pictures in general.

Thanks

You can almost find any picture you want on the WWW with Goggle search/images.
Here are some that I have on file though.

They all look so happy, and not a bit of grease under their finger nails.

Not stock, but that's what I was going for when I got these.
I think I paid 40$ a rim 10 years ago.
Just standard white wagon wheels with the red and blue pinstripe.

If I remember correctly, the only difference in the stock rims is the holes to mount the Center Caps.

Early CJ-7s used the narrow track axles so they got a 15x8 rim to help offset or gain width. The later CJs (82 on) used the more common 15x7. A sharp eye can spot the extra space just before the face meets the round rim section where they join. Heres pics of my "stock" Laredo and some rims including a Golden Eagle set that I have for sale...make a decent offer, they are rare.

Here's a picture of my 78 CJ5 which was recently restored pretty close to original. The wheels are the 8x15 option and the tires are Goodyear Dura Trac 31x10.5R15's which are (I think) about the same size as the Goodyear Tracker A-T option in 1978.

Gosh I wish my wheels were that clean. I am not looking forward to cleaning up the ones I have let alone trying to duplicate that stripe. You should give them to me for the cost of shipping!

Thank You..
It's actually more red than orange.
To be honest, I have no idea. That's the color the PO put on it.

You can pick them type of wheels up from Summit for around $50 a wheel I believe. They will have the stripe and all.

Your Jeep is remarkable! Do you have anymore pics so I can get a better look? I've always loved the CJ's and yours is sweet! When funds float my way a CJ will be in my future.

The stripe is not that hard to do if you make a jig just to turn the wheel and have a steady hand like my friend has who did the OEM pinstripe on my wheels.

I can do pictures. I love showing it off. My 83 CJ7 is all stock. It actually had the Chrome wheels on it, but I took the chrome home and painted them.
