Any Motorcraft 2100 gurus?

Hey, I have a Motorcraft 2100, 1.08 venturi out in the garage off a 304 I picked up.. Anyhow, the carb is in pieces, and I'm not all the confident in rebuilding it.. Also there was a little bit of play in the throttle shaft, not sure if my carb body is junk, or if I need a new shaft.. Anybody got any suggestions? I'd like to put 2100 on my 258 and get rid of the Weber 38 that's on there now.

Thanks.
