Another MC2100 install thread

Ok I have all day tommorow off with nothing to do. So the plan is to install my MC2100. I have a 80 CJ7 6cyl. I got the v8 accel cable Part num CA8650 that everyone said to get for easy hook up of accel cable. Now my question is does anyone have a good set of detailed intructions of what vaccum hoses I need and dont need. It looks like I have them all hooked up and runinng around everywhere to charcoal canister and such. I know with this set up I can eliminate most just want to make sure I do it right. My e-mail address is pegreenfield@yahoo.com. if someone has some they could send me or post on here. Its getting nice here and would love to have this thing up and running soon. thanks in advance.

My opinion, which you've probably seen on here if you've done any looking around before deciding on the MC2100 or how to install it, keep as many of the hoses as you can.

I have a thread where I went through with the rear valves and the MC2150 and connected just about every line I could. Granted, I don't have the OEM smog control on the manifolds or the stock air cleaner, so it's a lot less messy, but here's my thread: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/ca...-help-1064615/

I'm picking up an MC with the bowl vent soon, so I'll add that line to the list of things to connect to the canister. I think once you understand where everything is going and why, it seems a lot less messy.

I just did ours with the mc2150 and the bowl vent does run to the canister....(1)I've got my pcv to the front port on the base.(2) I've got the fuel bowl vent to the canister.(3)My HEI distributor vaccum is to the side port
bt the valve cover.(4)The rear vent from the valve cover goes to the port to pull gasses into the aircleaner and keep it out of the vehicle. These are the only 4 ports on this mc2150.Its sunny and 60 where I am and been running it all day.Hers a few pics.
