ANOTHER dash knob question

Guys, I'm pretty new here and don't post a whole lot, but i gain a TON of info from all the posts. HOWEVER, I'm rebuilding a 77 CJ7 and I can't for the life of me figure out the knob issue.

I need to replace all the knobs and I keep getting mixed reviews on the heater, Defrost and fan knobs. Are these knobs replaceable or do I have to get whole new cables? The cables work perfectly and if I can avoid replacing them I want to.

I would also like to match ALL the knobs alike. Please please please clear this up so I can get them ordered and finish this dang dash!

Thanks for the help in advance!

The knobs are replacable. There are billet knobs available on the aftermarket in polished or black finish. You can see in this pic the headlight knob in polished aluminum:

The cables are a whole other issue, as the 77 cables are not available on the aftermarket.

Don't listen to anyone named Hack.
The black ones are way more cool.
Got mine from 4wd.
Installed 'em myself. Pretty proud of that.

Calm down now. That was one of those cool little Allen thingys.
I don't know who all sells them- complete sets from 4wd hardware for like 20 bucks I think.
In super cool black or bling-bling polished aluminum

Yeah...I thought you took all them back to Sears because they had right angle bends in them...

They have them for sale here. I just stuck with the stock knobs and cables for the original look. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-cj...oard-parts.htm
