another cj for you guys to look at...

well it looks like the deal on the last blue cj i posted aint gonna go through, cause the seller is "iffy" about if he has/is going to aquire the title, and when we asked him about it he has gotten kind of an attitude with us.

but if i can afford it... i may have found something better!

your opinions please:

There's no mirrors so it wouldn't be street legal, the aquafina bottle that is being used as a radiator over flow won't last, a couple months and the antifreeze will eat through it, there's no rubber on the clutch pedal (I know, I'm picky), if those axles are stock they probably wont last with such big tires, it's missing the heat knobs, the exhaust sticks out under the frame and infront of the rear axle, but for a frame in that condition with a motor and trans that is fresh, its definitely something to consider.

Looks good on the video. Some ?'s

Gear ratio in axles?

Factory axle shafts in the front ?

Any lockers in axles?

See if you can check the angle of the driveshafts, because of the spring over.Check for lowering of the skid plate
Check the clearance of the drag link at the spring, with the wheels turned to passenger side.

Check as best as possible the camber on the front knuckels. While going for a drive. find someplace to run one front tire at a time on a 12 inch ledge, get out and look at the front supension mainly with the fronts turned toward the passenger side to check for clearances.

On edit, no back hatch for the hard top, full soft cj doors won't work with the hard top.Wiper motor?. no heater, fuel filter not rotated the correct way, steering shaft upper clamp bolt and nut not correct,(no locking nut, bolt to short)torsion bar to brake line clearance with front springs compressed needs to be checked.metal clip, hard top to windshield frame not painted. If driven on the street and it rains or the streets are wet you're gonna get wet , with no flares in the front.

Run away.

IMHO not worth close to 8K. Lots of hack mods are visible, I worry about what you can't see.

"reman 4.2 with 3K on it"

Get receipts to back this up or it might as well say "runs on fairy dust"

Looks good.

Besides what's already been mentioned, it also doesn't have any of the heating duct work or the blower motor.

The top of the doors are different and won't close correctly ( half doors would be ok). BTW, no lockers, no winch, 2 piece axle shafts in the rear and probley weak axle shafts in the front with the lack of histeer knuckles, and 36" tires, plus the other stuff $5000 tops, IMO.
