Also, Ive seen some diagrams where the starter relay is grounded/some where its not...is that necessary or redundant?

Any issues with using a 12v switched bus bar.....for multiple (2-4) leads?

I think Keith460 uses something similar...trying to search for his set up.

Provided your supply wire to the switched bus bar will handle all of the amperage of whatever is wired to it, there should be no problems.

Personally I would power the MSD off of a relay.

Grounding a starter solenoid in addition to the mounting bolt is redundant. You can never have too many grounds though.
